My rover is called Survivor. It’s called that because it’s supposed to help people survive on the moon. Survivor collects regolith by sucking it up through tubes that are connected to a holder which collects regolith. This also protects the machine by preventing regolith from getting into the center. There is a protective covering underneath the tubes that opens when cold and closes when hot, since temperatures can range from -173 degrees and 127 degrees Celsius. This helps protect my robot from the sun. The way Survivor is powered is by a solar panel. This also allows Survivor to speed up and slow down. It also has a weather sensor, so that it knows when to protect itself and close the cover. Survivor will help NASA in colonizing the moon!
