Stanley is a lunar robot that will carry regolith. With its four arms, it will collect dust and rocks and store them in three 4 inch containers. This means good amounts of regolith will be stored at a time. To get rid of regolith dust, there will be a device that shoots an electron beam towards the dust. When this happens, the electrons get into the micro-cavities of the dust and the photoelectrons are gathered by the surrounding dust. This results in an electron buildup. The repulsion between the negatively charged dust particles will release them from the surface. Stanley has a 360 infrared camera. This will allow the robot to easily gather information from its environment. Stanley also has solar panels to collect energy and have the ability to travel long distances. Overall, Stanley will thrive on the moon and do its job well.
