The "LASER " or (LUNAR ARTEMIS SOIL EXCAVATING ROBOT), includes small, spiked buckets on an escalator like conveyor belt that excavate soil one at a time which allows for more regolith to be scooped and deposited quickly and with less power usage. It is then deposited to a storage bin, which tilts, and flaps open to dump regolith to a holding container at the base. It moves on two tracks which allow for better mobility and acquires a greater surface area which provides better balance and stability. A layer of magnetically charged stainless steel mesh repels lunar dust as the dust has slight magnetic properties due to iron in its composition. Power is provided by MMRTG. The robot is made of Aluminum and Titanium Alloys which are best for handling the extreme hot and cold temperatures of the moon. It will be 3.5 feet x 2 feet x 2 feet.
