My autonomous solar moon bot uses a camera on top to scouts for rocks. It has a drill to dig into the soil. Once the soil is broken apart it's shovel can easily scoop up moon dirt and rocks. The shovel puts the samples into the storage container on top to transport it in small amounts. To remove dust and debris from itself, the robot can vibrate to loosen stubborn build up. Next using it's small robotic hose with a nozzle at the end, it can reach all parts of the robot and can puff out focused bursts of air to remove any remining dust off of its dust repelling, ultra smooth solar skin.
