Scrunchy Scissors

The Martian climate would pose many health threats to humans, but since space is limited, these tools might not fit. The medical scissors I have designed are common to most medical kits. They can be used to cut tissue and are necessary for most medical procedures; however, these scissors are unique. Instead of having to waste precious space in storing this essential item, Scrunchy Scissors are foldable. By folding these scissors in a particular configuration you could also have the scissors be used as a knife. A non-rusting, strong metal, such as titanium, should be used in its construction. Ideally, Scrunchy Scissors would be part of a larger medical supply kit, filled with other supplies that fold. Scrunchy Scissors will help Martian astronauts in the future.
