Space Grip Enhancer

The Space Grip Enhancer is a 3D printed object that’s goal is to prevent muscle atrophy in astronaut’s hands. Because of the zero gravity environment of space and the low gravity environment of Mars, muscles in astronaut’s bodies deteriorate as time goes on. To combat this, the Grip Enhancer uses a spring enclosed in the tube setup with a finger hole at each end to slow this deterioration process. The astronaut squeezes the contraption in and out and with the resistance provided by the spring, the muscles in the astronaut’s hand are used.
