Solar Healer

The Solar Healer is a sun-powered device that uses technology developed by NASA to heal injuries with infrared heat emitted by an array of LED’s (Light Emitting Diode’s). It uses a solar panel to recharge an integrated battery while the colonists work outside of the habitat. The Solar Healer is clipped onto a spacesuit to recharge an integrated battery when the colonists work outside of the Mars habitat. The colonists can use the fully charged Solar Healer to relive pain and help heal injuries. The Solar Healer is printed in one piece, including the LED’s and electric circuits by a multi-material 3D printer.
