The Extender

Astronauts are required to keep their suits on in the spaceship in case of the loss of cabin pressure. Gloves can get in the way while trying to press tiny buttons, but The Extender can save the astronauts time and not put their health at risk. This structure is made up of ABS plastic and includes an 4 inch “extended finger” that attaches to a ring and extends right over the finger. This allows Astronauts to press small buttons and do other tasks that would be otherwise difficult with large gloves on. It is worn over gloves to give the astronauts more access and ability to work while maintaining safety standards.
