Dear NASA Scientists, I wanted to congratulate you all for the successful landing of Perseverance. I watched the entire time, and it was brilliant! I was surprised when I heard the rover had landed in the Jezero Crater! Didn’t it use to be a lake? I’m now interested in astrobiology after this mission and am really excited to see more rover images of Mars. But the technology was absolutely wonderful! I was fascinated by MASTCAM-Z and how it’s able to take pictures in 11 different colors, as well as its calibration target and the motto “Two Worlds, One Beginning”. I also loved SHERLOC, and the way it identifies structures of Mars samples - aim a laser and see how the light reacts, then come to a conclusion. Of course, you can’t forget its partner WATSON, the camera! Looking forward to working with you all in the future! Kudos to everyone!
