What you are looking at is my homemade cookie explorer (modeled after the Perseverance Rover) made out of a broken toy car, several elastics, and some transparent building blocks! Its plastic parachute helped it land on the rocky, crunchy landscape of the Mars surface – a cookie sheet. This creative rover is coasting along a sugary, fluffy, red cookie terrain and leaving some cinnamon rover tracks. The Perseverance Rover is collecting samples and pictures of the things it finds on the red planet. The homemade cookie explorer finds gooey, sticky, purple slime on the edible “planet” that the NASA crew members call “Mars mud” and puts it into a container. The landing of the Perseverance Rover on Mars inspired me and my ambitious creation!
