Molecules I think are really cool. It is also an everyday molecule. Scientists estimate that 50-80% of the oxygen (h20)production on Earth comes from the ocean. The majority of this production is from oceanic plankton — drifting plants, algae, and some bacteria that can photosynthesize. oxygen comes from the ocean because the ocean produces oxygen through the plants (phytoplankton, kelp, and algal plankton) that live in it. These plants produce oxygen as a byproduct of photosynthesis, a process that converts carbon dioxide and sunlight into sugars the organism can use for energy. Oxygen is the main source for all living things, every living thing needs oxygen to survive. Oxygen is kind of like a germ which is little which makes it not able to see to us, humans. But oxygen is not a germ it is a molecule but small like a germ. Overall oxygen is a really cool molecule.
