I chose glucose as my molecule because it is very relevant in humans and all living organisms. Glucose is the most important source of energy in all organisms. in humans, it is the sugar that exists in our blood. It comes from the food you eat and is your body's main source of energy. It can be classified as a carbohydrate. Glucose can be found in all different foods such as fruits, vegetables, milk, bread, rice, pasta, and potatoes. Glucose is a simple sugar with the molecular formula C6H12O6. Glucose has no odor, can be a liquid or a solid, is colorless (clear), soluble in water and acetic acid, and has a sweet taste. It also has a melting point of 294.8˚F (146˚C), a density of 1.54 g/cm³, and its molecular weight is 180.16 g/mol.
