Nitrogen Molecule Essay

Molecular Nitrogen or N2 makes up about 78% of the Earth’s atmosphere. They are molecules that are interacted with very frequently. In fact, you might be interacting with one right now! Anyway, nitrogen molecules are a 3D Venn-Diagram shape (if you can see them, that is). These molecules are made when two atoms of nitrogen are bound tightly together. This molecule is non-flammable and non-toxic, in fact, it is also odorless and colorless. The relevance of nitrogen is actually quite high. Nitrogen is a key part of the nucleic acids DNA and RNA, which are actually the most important of all biological molecules and are important to all living organisms.
