Facts about the Bleach atom.

The molecule that I chose is sodium hypochlorite, otherwise known as bleach. It has extreme relevance in our practical world in the form of bleach spray, used for deep cleaning, and in providing chlorination for pools. It is made up of one oxygen, one sodium, and one chlorine atom. The sodium gives one electron to oxygen, while the chlorine and oxygen both share one electron, making them all stable. Bleach is so strong that it wipes out all bacteria from any surface it touches. Bleach is quite a common item, it’s very effective, and very cheap. Additionally, It is used in hospitals to keep infections from spreading to other patients. Some people think that bleach is too dangerous to use, but it is only potentially harmful if put on someone's mouth or eyes. From hospitals to house cleaning, bleach is an item of which its importance can not be understated.
