Aspirin molecules are made up of nine carbon atoms, eight hydrogen atoms, and four oxygen atoms. It is written like this: C9H8O4. The aspirin molecule looks like white crystals and smells like vinegar. It has a bitter flavor. Aspirin is an anti-inflammatory drug and many people take it daily to help their hearts. I chose the aspirin molecule because it is a life-saving medicine that helps people every day. Without aspirin, many more people could die from heart attacks and also live with pain. Because aspirin helps so many people have healthy hearts, I decided to make my 3-D molecule with hearts. I am thankful that aspirin was invented and so many people benefit from it, including my family members.
