The hydrogen and oxygen molecules connect together to make the molecule OH. The carbon mixed with 1 oxygen molecule and 3 hydrogen molecules make CH2OH. Glucose can be both solid or liquid and has no odor. It is sweet and is soluble in water. Glucose is colorless and clear. Glucose is relevant in our world because we need it in our bodies to produce energy to function properly. Glucose is in most foods we eat. Our bodies break down the food and take in the glucose in it for energy.
