The Benzene Molecule

Did you ever wonder what is the scent in a gas station? It's actually Benzene. Benzene is an elementary petrochemical. Since the cyclic and continuous pi bonds between the carbon bonds it is classified as an aromatic hydrocarbon. Benzene also carries crude oil inside of it and there is some trace amounts of Benzene in petroleum and coal. Also in 1997, Benzene was discovered in space.
