Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is a pale blue liquid that is mostly used as an antiseptic which stops the spread of viruses when applied. Most people will put it on when they get a cut, to stop viruses from infecting them. Other uses for the molecule is mouth rinse, this relieves mouth irritations (for example gingivitis). This molecule is made up of 2 hydrogen atoms and 2 oxygen atoms (Similar to H20/water) and the formula of the molecule is H2O2. The way we use H2O2 in our real life is when we cut ourselves. Some others may use H2O2 in real life to relieve mouth irritations.
