Ethanol an overlooked Molecule

The chemical formula C2H5OH also known as Ethanol is a very important molecule that we use everyday. Ethanol consists of 2 carbon atoms, 6 hydrogen atoms and 1 oxygen atom. Ethanol can be found in many things such as hand sanitizer, gasoline, and alcoholic beverages. Some of the items listed have a big role to play in our lives such as gasoline. We need it in order to be able to fuel our vehicles to be able to have easy transportation, Then hand sanitizer is one of the biggest things we need today ever since the pandemic has come, everyone would use hand sanitizer in order to kill of the germs they may have on their hands to prevent them from either getting sick or passing on germs to other people. Ethanol is at least 60% of the hand sanitizers so without ethanol hand sanitizers would not be as effective.
