Carbon Monoxide Molecule

Carbon Monoxide (CO) made up of one carbon atom and one oxygen atom. The Carbon atom is colored grey and the oxygen atom is colored red. The properties of this molecule, it doesn’t have color, no odor, and is tasteless. slightly less dense than air, flammable and very toxic. We interact with CO many times a day, but we don’t notice it because it doesn’t affect out five sense. CO is a silent killer and people die from it. Many people die from car exhaust if your car is on in the garage. CO is found in fumes anytime you burn fuel and is found in car exhaustion. It happens in cars, trucks, engines, and more. CO can build up indoors and will poison anyone who breathes it. When this is happening, you have no sense of what’s going on because it’s a silent killer and you can’t smell it.
