I have created Ribose, a simple sugar and carbohydrate that our bodies create. Red atoms represent Oxygen, gray atoms are Carbon, and the smaller white atoms represent hydrogen. The molecular formula for it is C₅H₁₀O₅ and the linear-form composition is H−(C=O)−(CHOH)4−H. The molar mass of ribose is 150.13 g/mol This molecule is important to us because it is a necessary part of ATP, something that gives our cells energy. Without this, we cannot have ATP, and without that, people will not be supplied with energy to their cells.
