Carbon Dioxide

Carbon Dioxide is a molecule made from one Carbon and two Oxygen (CO2). It can be found in many places including geysers, rocks, volcanoes, hot springs and the earth’s atmosphere. It is used to help make foods, some candy and carbonated soft drinks. It can help people by putting out fires when used as a fire extinguisher. Plants need Carbon Dioxide to help make Oxygen for us to breathe. We could not live without Carbon Dioxide.
