My molecule is Lactose. I have created my molecule of Lactose in the shape of a cow, as that is where Lactose comes from. The pieces of the cow in the 3-D model have been color coordinated to match the number of the different types of atoms in one molecule of Lactose, however the colors do not show in the STL file (they do in the screenshots). The 11 blue pieces represent the 11 Oxygen atoms, the 12 green pieces represent the 12 Carbon atoms, and the 22 orange pieces represent the 22 Hydrogen atoms--the molecular formula of Lactose. My cow has legs with joints, utters, a tail, a head, and even horns. Lactose is a key ingredient in all dairy products and makes up 2-8% of milk. Lactose is a disaccharide and is a sugar composed of galactose and glucose subunits.
