For this model, I'm looking into the world of elastic rubbers, more specifically, silicone rubber. Silicone rubber's chemical makeup consists of a spine of silicone and oxygen with an organic group of methyl attached to it and an outer shell of CH3 molecules. It is classified as an elastomer and has a chemical makeup similar to other rubbers. Generally, silicone rubber is very durable and highly resistant to abrasion and heat, as well as having generally good chemical stability and low toxicity; it is also very elastic.
In its applicability to practical life, it can be used in a variety of worlds, from automotive to medical to luxury. It can be used as pipe caps, pipe gaskets, swimming gear, respiratory care items, medical equipment, insulators, cable terminators, rubber balls, baking trays, cooking equipment, and insulators; and the list just starts there!
