Phosphoric Acid and Soda Pop

Everybody loves soda. We like that tangy taste. But did you think about what makes that taste? It is a molecule called Phosphoric acid. It is made of the chemical formula H₃PO₄. It has a double bond and uses 8 Atoms. Even though it is used in dentistry as an etching solution it can still be harmful. It is addictive, will make your teeth decay, and may cause heart disease and kidney stones. It can help the body if you don’t take too much, it can be used in toothpastes, water treatment, lots of healthy food, and soap. So even though some people say it is bad there are good things that it is in. and it can react with bases to make salts in a chemical reaction. That and many more reasons are what make it an amazing (Tangy) molecule.
