Carbon fiber is a molecule that is definitely going to be used in the future. I believe this because Carbon fiber have several advantages including high stiffness, high tensile strength, low weight, high chemical resistance, high temperature tolerance and low thermal expansion. With these properties Carbon fiber will be very helpful to aerospace industry and since Carbon fiber has very high strength to weight ratio which is very useful for cars or airliners.
