Glass

The glass molecule is made up of two silicon atoms and one oxygen atom. Glass has covalent bonds. Glass is transparent, because it lets Photons through, and doesn't have energy to change the Electrons. Glass does not transfer heat well. This is useful, because it allows you to melt parts of the glass, for glass blowing. Glass is an amorphous solid. That means that the molecules are not arranged in a specific structure. We use glass every day. It is transparent, but does not transfer heat, so we can use it for windows. Glass can also be used for art. You can blow glass into different shapes. Glass art is beautiful.
