Magical Methane

Methane is a chemical compound with the chemical formula CH4. It is a group-14 hydride and the simplest alkane, and the main constituent of natural gas. Methane has a very important use in everyday lives. It is what is used to start a fire on the oven. It has three chemical elements such as Hydrogen, Oxygen,and Carbon. Methane also has four atoms, four hydrogen atoms and one carbon atom. The use of this in everyday lives is for cooking or making tea over the stove. The boiling point of methane is -259℉. The density of methane is 0.657 kg/m3. The use of methane is important to everyday lives because it would be hard to cook without it meaning methane is important to modern day lives.Without methane everyday lives would be much harder, having to always cook over a grill or a fire.
