Detergent

Detergent, also known as sodium dodecyl benzene sulphonate, is a molecule that is used in everyday life. First of all, sodium dodecyl benzene sulphonate is the scientific name for detergent. Its molecular composition is C18H29NaO3S which has 18 carbon atoms, 29 hydrogen atoms, 1 sodium atom, 3 oxygen atoms, and 1 sulfur atom for a total of 42 atoms. Next, detergent is only one color but be different colors with different chemicals, and it can have different scents including citrus. Also, it is part polar and part non-polar, which gives it the ability to clean clothes. Then, it has the density of 0.9 g/cm³, soluble in water, and can either be liquid or solid. Furthermore, detergent is connected to the world by being able to wash dirty clothes, which allows good body hygiene. In conclusion, sodium dodecyl benzene sulphonate, detergent, is a molecule used in everyday life.
