Sugar, or scientifically known as sucrose contains 3 elements carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen, and is represented by the chemical formula C12H22O11. Like all other things formed by these three elements, sugar is also a carbohydrate. The density of sugar is 1.59g/cm3 therefore, the compound is relatively easy to mix in many substances like tea. For having a sweet natural flavor and a low-density many households use this natural flavor to sweeten their food or drinks. Furthermore, sugar has a boiling point of 320 degrees Fahrenheit and has a much crystalline texture. Sugar is most commonly found in it's solid-state and is a solute that is found in many compositions. For instance, when making chocolate producers mix sugar with the now melted cocoa beans to sweeten the mixture. All in all, sugar is a multipurpose compound that is used in everyday life all around the world.
