Citric acid is made up of 6 Carbon atoms, 8 Hydrogen atoms, 7 Oxygen atoms. The elements that make up Citric acid are obviously Carbon,Hydrogen, and Oxygen. Carbon has an atomic number of 6,Hydrogen has an atomic number of 1, and Oxygen has an atomic number of 8. Carbon is commonly in the charcoal you use in a barbecue grill. Hydrogen is in Hydrogen peroxide that you would use on a wound. Lastly Oxygen is in the air that we breathe. When these elements are together in the right quantities they make citric acid. This is the atomic structure and the elements of Citric Acid.
