“The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination.” - Albert Einstein My interest in space exploration started in my backyard, while I was stargazing with my family. As soon as I found out about your contest for naming the next Mars rover that will launch in January 2020, I knew exactly what it's name should be: Imagination. Imagination is the best name for the rover because I believe that the images the rover will send back, and the discoveries it will make, will spark the imagination of many people worldwide. Just imagine: artists, authors, everyone, incorporating the rover's innovations in their work! Another reason the Mars rover should be called Imagination is because imagination provides the path to the truth. If NASA engineers had never imagined the designs for the rover, the simple truth would be that the rover wouldn't exist. Creation and discovery require Imagination!
