I think Tenacity would be a great name for a Mars rover because it means that you never give up. Scientists are tenacious. It is what keeps them thinking and experimenting. Scientists never give up because of their tenacity. It is part of their career. When scientists make mistakes they see what they did wrong and then try again. If they didn’t have tenacity, Mars rovers wouldn’t be a thing. Tenacity also means that you overcome obstacles without giving up, like the scientists did when they built and programmed it. The rover will also have to overcome actual obstacles, like boulders on Mars. Even when the rover lands on Mars scientists will still use tenacity to drive it around on Mars’s rocky surface. If the rover is named Tenacity it will inspire kids like me to be tenacious too! Because of tenacity the world is so much better.
