Catalyst

Mars exploration, as yet, has been an immense success. Rovers including some of the Mariners, The Vikings, Spirit, and Odyssey have discovered incredible things on the mysterious Red Planet. Although Mars might be the most explored body in our solar system, our advancements are minuscule in comparison to the vast unknown, waiting to be explored. Every mission prompts new discoveries, which persuade previous speculations about how a planet works. Success in our long term mission- to colonize Mars, requires a considerable amount of time, thus, Catalyst will help speed up this process. A catalyst, in chemistry, is a substance that speeds up a chemical reaction. In our situation, Mars 2020 is the Catalyst and Mars is our chemical reaction.
