Possibility

The new NASA rover is in need of a name. Names hold a significance in engaging and inspiring audiences, which can make choosing the perfect name imperative. A mission as important as the newest NASA’s Rover deserves a name dignified enough to interest individuals and capture the attention of students worldwide. The name I have thought long and hard about and hope to win, follows the previous credentials and more. I propose the name Possibility. Possibility refers to the idea that the ability to accomplish amazing things is open. The 2020 rover is being launched in hopes that it may pilot and pave the way for the future by researching past microbial life, collecting core samples, and testing new technologies in producing oxygen, which may provide humans the “Possibility” of going to Mars. The new rover will produce endless possibilities, which is why it should be named Possibility.
