The Astonishing Use of RPS: Longevity

There are many wonderful things about the Radioisotope Power Systems, but the one that impressed me the most is its Longevity. The RPS is a reliable power source. Through the past 60 years helped with almost 20 space missions. The RPS is generated from PLUTONIUM-238, an actinide metal. RPS does not rely on solar energy, and it can go as far as scientists want. In this case, RPS can be used for exploring the EXOPLANETS such as OGLE-2014-BLG-0124Lb or KEPLER-2b without breaking down through the tough conditions faced in the journey. VOYAGER-2 has already explored the farthest planet in our solar system, Neptune (which is a gas giant) without malfunctioning using RPS. Therefore RPS, Longevity in specific is very inspiring! My goal is to become a scientist and my unique power which will help me achieve that is my interest in science. Science helps me to understand and explore everything that I like. This passion should help me achieve my goal. RPS has been inspiring and an extraordinary power source to scientists. It has helped accomplish NASA’s dreams. In the same way, my power will help me accomplish my life's dream.
