My wheel design is 20 inches in diameter and 7 inches in width. The tire is made of titanium. Titanium is a strong and flexible metal. It is also light so it can go on a rocket without adding a ton of weight. It has 6 steel spring spokes as shock absorbents on the inner part. 17 aluminum grousers are around the tire to get a grip on the martian soil. They are about 1.5 inches apart from each other, an inch in height, and a half-inch in width. Each wheel has its own motor for all-wheel drive capabilities. They will also all be able to steer, enabling the rover to do a 360-turn in one spot and traverse around large rocks and dips in the sand. The rover would have six wheels. The wheel has the letters JPL on it to honor the engineers at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
