My wheels are not regular round wheels. I decided that springs would be the best way to move around Mars. They would be on a "wheel" that turns them to face them the direction the rover needs to go. There would be two large springs each on the front and back of the rover. They would be slanted, so that you could move in directions and not just up and down. Each could be unlatched to make it spring across the planet. The middle one could help it bounce straight up and down to help it get unstuck from places. The front and back springs could rotate on the wheel so that it could move side to side as well as forward and backward. These are better than regular wheels because the rover could jump over sharp objects that could hurt wheels. It could also jump over aliens.
