The “Future Wheel 101” has a hard rubber outside so it will not get ripped or broken while driving over sharp rocks on Mars. The layer inside the hard rubber tire is a mesh made of the memory alloy, which can help the outside layer reform if it gets squished. The layer inside the memory alloy mesh is 8 plates made of pure Carbon Nanofiber, which is very strong but lightweight. There are also 32 springs connecting the Carbon Nanofiber plates with the center hub. Each plate has 4 springs attached to it. These springs are used to help the tire to keep its shape and absorb the shocks. The springs are made of Titanium Alloy because they are process-tolerant and lightweight. The hub is also made of Titanium Alloy.
