My Rover Wheel has a “smart” design, empowering it with many next generation capabilities. It comes with element detectors for the Martian soil, which can contain elements like nitrogen, sulfur and phosphorus. This enables Perseverance to discover elements that could be the building blocks of life as we know it. The wheel design is also practical: it is made of a strong aluminum-titanium alloy, and chromium for the different colored element sensors. If multiple elevations need to be explored at once, or if there are small items like rocks or microbes that Perseverance is too large to handle without damage, my Rover Wheel can deploy instant mini-rovers with drone capabilities to explore the Martian surface. Each cube-shaped mini rover has a specific function, like sensor readings, surface exploration, sample collection and so on. Its creative layout will leave a legacy on Perseverance and the rest of the Solar System.
