NeoRotom

NeoRotom is my idea of a modern rover wheel. The grips (blue) are made of Titanium-Aluminum alloy, because it is strong and light. This is also used in the inner layer (also blue) that is used to close the springs. The spring layer (orange) absorbs shocks that could damage the wheel. It is also lighter to launch than solid metal. One problem with this layer is that if the rover stays on one section to much it would bend the springs. The spokes (yellow) would be hollow and made of carbon fiber, as this makes them very light. The rockets (red) will drill for their own fuel; water ice that can be electrolyzed into rocket fuel. These boosters will get NeoRotom out of tricky situations like getting stuck in sand. NeoRotom could be expensive to build, but it will go a lot than current wheels.
