I think ‘Spirit’ is a good start with self-motored rover wheels because this rover wheel has 2 modes, one with a normal wheel with rock collecting measures, and one with spikes that can climb very steep slopes. Spirit also can collect small and big rock samples. This rover used camera detection to use the spikes in the wheels to climb on steep slopes. The rock collecting meter is your choice. It can collect as many rocks as everyone wants and throw away some for better ones in storage too. It can go to the lab in the rover through a tube that sucks it in. The grooves are made of chromium and are very strong, while the other things are made of titanium. The grooves look like long, stretched out slithery s’. This rover wheel can fit on any rovers. The spikes only come on the first and middle wheels.
