While looking at pictures of the interior of the International Space Station, I noticed the sheer number of wires and tubes jutting out from the walls. My solution to this is the Space-Tie, an improvement on current zip-ties. This item can easily be 3D printed by an astronaut on board the International Space Station and features a hook and a ring, which allows for the user to easily organize individual Space-Ties into larger groups. In addition, the design of the space tie allows astronauts to quickly remove and access tubes or wires whenever they desire. Therefore, by having Space-Ties on board the ISS, astronauts can travel through its corridors with many less obstacles in the way.
