My object is a set of pinhole glasses. Pinhole glasses are not replacements but can be an aid for astronauts. They work by focusing single rays of light onto the retina. This effect has many potential benefits: the eyes don’t have to adjust their focus, lessening eye strain; pinhole glasses might reduce fatigue when looking at screens; in cases of concussion or retinal separation all but the central pinholes can be blocked limiting eye movement; they may also cut down on nausea. The glasses fit onto the nose using a pez-nez, which is a design of glasses that allows them to clamp onto the bridge of the nose without earpieces. This feature allows for optimum positioning for the wearer.
