Future Engineers 3D Printing Space Tool Project STEM II L&N STEM Academy, December 2014 Title of Tool: Hex Key The Hex Key is a tool used for tightening Hex Screws. This tool will be important to replace a broken Hex Key as they are easily bendable and breakable because of their size. It is 35.645mm long and 15mm wide with a 2.56mm face. I decided on my design because i knew how bendable a Hex Key was. I thought it important to have a replacement. This tool will allow Astronauts to tighten Hex Keys.
