The Micro-Clean solves the problem of Astronauts not being able to clean their clothes in space. This tool requires some simple assembly, and fits on the 3D print bed on the ISS.
To use the tool, the astronaut must squirt water into a piece of clothing and insert one end of the clothing into one strap. Then, they strap the other end of clothing to the other clamp while twisting the clothing. This creates a tube of water due to surface tension in a micro-gravity environment, and this has been tested and confirmed by astronaut Chris Hadfield(Towel Exp.) The water goes through the clothing in this process and then the astronaut will use a bottle to suck up the dirty water that is "stuck" to the clothing by squeezing and releasing the bottle.
