Staying connected in isolation

The invention I would create would be a digital application that could be used for positive back and forth messaging between people in their own neighborhood or community, within a one to two mile radius. This application would help people smile by giving them opportunities to communicate by choosing a positive message from a selection of phrases, or writing their own to a person, or their whole neighborhood. Most everyone has a phone or computer, so the messages could be sent and received from either type of device making it easy for people to access. Something like this would brighten people’s days by sending and receiving positive messages to start their day. It would help support people to connect with others when they may need assistance or connecting them to resources in the community. It would help people feel less alone, more connected to people around them and in their community.
