Stay Home!

The last thing anyone expected to happen in 2020 was a global pandemic. It’s important that we stay home during these times, so they will come to an end within less time. To make people smile, I took the simple route: drawing with chalk. I wanted to convey a message to my neighbors about how important it is to social distance. Who’s the perfect character to help me tell them? Peppa Pig, whose house is located on the top of a hill. She makes me smile, so hopefully the color of chalk would brighten the days of others. My drawing consists of Peppa’s hill, her home, and her staying very close to it. She says, “Stay home!” As I drew this, my neighbors walked by and smiled. Taking some time out of your day to do small things can ultimately make peoples’ days or be a highlight of their days.
