Slideshow

For the Start a Smile challenge, I made a slideshow for my paternal grandparents, one of whom is in a rehab facility, and the other in assisted living. Since they’re elderly, they’re much more isolated than the rest of us, and because they’re not near each other, I imagined that they might be a bit lonely as well. I decided I wanted to cheer them up, and take their mind off of what was happening around them for all of 55 seconds. (I sent them an iMovie, and some of the photos in it are included here.) With this in mind, I decided to make a slideshow of recent pictures (and a video), some of which included me, as my way of saying hi, letting them know I’m thinking about them, and catching up with them in a way. I’ve sent it to them and I hope they like it.
