To begin my 'Make Someone Smile' Monday project, , I decided to make a face mask for our postal worker. Making face mask to keep people safe during Covid-19 is fun! I learned how to sew the face masks using a pattern my aunt gave me. I picked out the pretty material and started sewing the mask. Then I realized that there was no more elastic for the mask. I found some seam binding and tried it. It worked!! I finished the mask and put it in a brown gift bag with pink tissue paper. I made a card for the postal worker and it had a smiley face on it. I put it in the mailbox and I can’t wait to see her expression! But I’ll have to stay on the front porch----social distancing!! I have enjoyed working on this project and being a part of ‘Maker Monday STEM activities!
